Four games today in Pepsi League

Four games will be played tonight in Men’sPepsi League.  One of the biggest games tonight is the derby match between KR and Valur.

Grindavik – IA (18:00). Grindavik has been the surprise team this season.  They have been playing very well but they were promoted to the Pepsi league after last summer along with KA. IA is at the bottom.  IA has not won since 19th June.  IA and Grindavik have already met this summer with Grindavik winning 2-3.

KA – Stjarnan(18:00). KA needs more points to continue to stay above the relegation zone and will be wanting to acquire some points tonight at their home stadium. Stjarnan is however still in the title race in 2nd position only five points after Valur.  Stjarnan won 2-1 when these teams met on 21.05.17

Breidablik – Vikingur R(18:00).  Both teams in the middle of the league.  Breidablik won the match 2-3 when they met 21.05.17

KR – Valur (18:30). This is very interesting and if KR wins it opens up the complete title race if Stjarnan also wins in Akureyri. Valur will be looking at comeback after losing to FH in last round and strengthen its stay at the top.  KR has won three out of last four games in the league and has been acquiring some points after a rocky start.
