The Icelandic National Team will play Romania, North Macedonia and Germany in next few days.

Last week the squad was announced with two changes this weekend. The original squad:

  • Hjörtur Hermannsson – Pisa – 22 leikir, 1 mark
  • Kári Árnason – Víkingur R. – 89 leikir, 6 mörk
  • Ari Freyr Skúlason – IFK Norrköping – 79 leikir
  • Guðmundur Þórarinsson – New York City FC – 7 leikir
  • Birkir Már Sævarsson – Valur – 98 leikir, 3 mörk
  • Alfons Sampsted – Bodö Glimt – 5 leikir

Kolbeinn Sigþórsson and Rúnar Már Sigurjónsson were later dropped from the squad and Viðar Örn Kjartansson and Gísli Eyjólfsson are in the squad. Rúnar Már was dropped because of injury and personal reasons but Kolbeinn was withdrawn from the squad by the board of KSI.
