Lengjubikarinn has started

Two rounds have been played in Lengjubikarinn which is a nationwide tournament. At first it is played in group stages and then into playoffs. The teams in 1st and 2nd place in each group go into playoffs.

Group A1:
Teams: Valur, HK, KA, Afturelding, Vikingur Ó and Grindavík
The Pepsi Max teams Valur and HK have won both of their games but Valur has a better goal difference (+8) after a 8-1 win against Grindavik last weekend.
Group A2:
Teams: KR, Víkingur R, Kórdrengir, FH, Fram and Þór Ak
The only team that has not yet got a point is Þór Ak. They lost 3-1 at home against Kórdrengir which will be playing for the first time in the 1st division this summer. KR and Vikingur have 4 points while Kórdrengir, FH and Fram have 3 points.
Group A3:
Teams: Stjarnan, Keflavík, Grótta, ÍA, Selfoss and Vestri.
Stjarnan has won both of their games. Keflavík and Grótta have four points but they drew 3-3 in the first round. Selfoss and Vestri have not yet won a match.
Group A4:
Teams: Breiðablik, Fylkir, Leiknir R., Þróttur R., Fjölnir and ÍBV
Breiðablik and Fylkir have both won their games and have six points. Most noticeable is that IBV lost last weekend against Leiknir R. 3-1 but Leiknir was promoted to the Premier League (Pepsi Max league) last summer. Breiðablik has won both of its game comfortably 4-0 against Leiknir and 5-0 against Þróttur R.
