Relaxation of Covid restrictions

The health minister has introduced a relaxation of Covid restrictions permitting clubs to train and compete.

The change in these restrictions starting on Thursday will be: “Sports training and competitions are permitted for both children and adults, both with and without physical contact, but without audiences. The maximum number of adults will be 50 persons, but the number of children will follow the same restrictions as those for schools.” Here you can read the full press release from the Icelandic Government

KSI has not yet announced if the Icelandic Football will start as planned but the Pepsi Max League was supposed to start Thursday next week with the game Valur – IA. News from the Football Association is expected soon.
