Sveindis Jane Jónsdóttir was named Player of the Match after the first game in the Women’s Euro 2022 last night. Iceland drew 1-1 against Belgium in a game played in Manchester.
Iceland got a penalty on 33rd Minute but it the kick from Berglind was saved by the Belgium keeper. Berglind Björg Þorvaldsdóttir scored for Iceland on the 50th minute. Belgium equalised in the 67th minute from a penalty kick.
Iceland’s next game is on Thursday also in Manchester and our oppenents then will be Italy.
