Three games takes place tonight in Women‘s Besta deildin. Valur has a 4 points lead at the top after 13 games with Breiðablik in 2nd place. Games tonight are:
Selfoss – Þór/KA.
Þór/KA is fighting to get some results. Þór/KA won last 1. June when Keflavík went to visit them. Þór/KA has only got 1 point from last five games and need a win to stay away from the relegation zone. Selfoss has the same form as Þór/KA – only 1 point in last five games.
Þróttur – ÍBV
This is a game between the clubs in 4th and 5th place. Þróttur has won last two games in the league and with a win they can get to third place. ÍBV won last game against KR.
Afturelding – Keflavík
Afturelding was until recently in the bottom seat of the league but have won 2 out of last three matches. If they win they go above Þór/KA and Keflavík and move from the relegation zone. Afturelding coach has described the atmosphere within the squad as very dynamic so we can expect that they will be hungry for another win and a seat above the relegation first time this summer.
